I've made some crazy and weird performance cars in Automation, hoping to make a real 1/4-mile rocket. Now, this one is a real different boy right here!
Inspired by the Trabant 602 that my grandfather has, fully restored.
Little note: The original engine that the actual 602 had is a 2-stroke, inline-twin engine. Automation doesn't have that, so I had to improvise. See specs below.
Specs (plus whether period correct or not):
Name: Trabant 602 Coupe (accurate)
Type: 2-door, 6 seats (bench seats front and rear, accurate)
Drivetrain: FWD, Engine front longitudinal (accurate)
Gearbox: 4-speed manual (accurate)
Weight: 847 kg (more than the actual car
Engine: Trabant P65/66
Power: 27.6hp (accurate)
Config: Pushrod Inline-3 (not accurate but as close as can be)
Compression: 7.6:1 (accurate)
Fuel consumption: 16L/100km (i dont know if that's accurate)
I hope you like it, as I double- and triple-checked it with things my grandfather said about his model.![]()
