Training Air Wing Two (TAW-2) is a US Navy flight training unit based at Naval Air Station Kingsville in Texas. TAW-2 is comprised of two squadrons, the VT-21 Red Hawks and the VT-22 Golden Eagles, and makes use of the McDonnell-Douglas T-45C Goshawk training jet.
This skin pack features three liveries for the Bastion.
Skin 1: Basic white-and-orange scheme
Since the introduction the Goshawk in 1991, most examples have sported a classic white-and-orange high-visibility scheme. This livery is a modified take on this concept.
Skin 2: "Texas Flag" scheme
This livery is based on T-45C BuNo. 163656, a Goshawk that flew with TAW-2 in a livery reminiscent of the Texas flag. The jet previously sported a livery based on naval training aircraft from the second world war, and was lost in an accident on August 16, 2022. The pilot safely ejected.
Skin 3: Gray scheme
In late 2024, the navy began introducing a new livery for its T-45 fleet. This livery is primarily gray, with black lettering and colored roundels, and is intended to more closely resemble fleet aircraft than the traditional high-visibility scheme.
This pack includes three vehicle config files, which are identical save for the different liveries.
These skins are designed to be used on the Bastion's standard parts, and may not work properly with things like custom bumpers or fender flares.
