Alpha [Twin Auto Group] Covet Buggy 1.1

A Buggy-converted Ibishu Covet

  1. niTniT
Twin Auto Group is a fictitious fabrication company made up by me, niTniT, for my automotive-focus content ventures.

The Covet Buggy is a simple mod made by merging parts from the Ibishu Covet, Autobello Piccolina Buggy and some other miscellaneous parts from offroaders and crawlers.

    Current featureset:
    • Some I4 engines from the Ibishu Covet with strengthened internals.
    • Center- to 8-lug wheels.
    • All the transmissions from the Ibushu Covet.
    Planned updates:
    • [DONE!] The F4 engines from the Autobello Piccolina.
    • Various V8's.
    • Driver aids (stability control, traction control).
    • AWD.
    • Lockable differentials for crawling.
    Known issues:
    • I am currently aware that, for some reason, the wheels like to detach at random.
    • Due to the low low-end torque on the Covet I4's, the clutch likes to overheat, however i have semi-remedied this with a much heavier clutch/flywheel.
    • Due to some .jbeam weirdness some parts wobble at random, and the interior deforms slightly.
    Support/feedback/feature requests:
I probably won't check this thread much, and i apologize in advance for that - However i can be contacted on Discord, either via the dedicated thread for my mod on there, or via DM's @ nitnit_

Models are dope and it handles difficult terrain like a champ. Only issue right now is with the Covet engines struggling to make power at low RPMs. without help from the turbo. Very excited to see where this mod goes.

      Thank you for the feedback!
I am aware of this, however that is kind of the point, as it is meant to be the Covet I4 transplanted to the rear. BUT I have an update with the Piccolina F4's in the works

Really cool concept and model, yet mechanically there seems to be major issues with the clutch. The drivetrain power-loss through the transmission is substantial with just 20% engine power or less making it to wheel power during the takeoff from 1st. With normal powerloss returning at 4,000 RPM.

Can't wait to see this be resolved and enjoy it even more.
