The History：
In 1986, the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China promulgated the fourth generation of license plates in the history of China, calling the type 86 license plates. These license plates have a vibrant background to distinguish between a wide range of models. On April 25, 1992, the Ministry of Public Security issued the fifth-generation license plate (GA36-92), which called the 92-type license plate. In the summer of 1994, it was officially renewed in China. Since then, the history of the type 86 license plate has ended.
1986年，中华人民共和国公安部颁布了新中国史上第四代车牌，称86式车牌。这些车牌有色彩鲜明的背景，用来区分各种各样的车型。1992年4月25日，公安部颁布了第五代车牌（GA36-92），称92式车牌。1994年夏季正式在我国大规模换发。从此，86式车牌的历史结束。
