SiR Variable Fuel Tanks

This mod adds variable versions of BeamNG’s stock fuel tanks, allowing you to tune fuel volume and fuel weight directly from the normal parts menu and tuning tab.

Features

Fuel Volume
Adjust the starting fuel amount in liters.

Fuel Weight Multiplier
Adjust how heavy the fuel is by changing fuel density. Higher values increase fuel mass, while lower values reduce it.

Stock Parts Menu Support
These are real fuel tank parts that can be installed through the normal parts selector.

Tuning Menu Support
Once installed, fuel settings can be adjusted through the standard tuning tab.

Expanded Fuel Capacity
Variable fuel tanks can now hold up to 10x the stock fuel capacity.

Wide Vehicle Support
Variable versions have been generated for a large range of BeamNG’s stock fuel tank parts across cars, vans, trucks, buses, off-road vehicles, and semis.

How It Works

Install a variable fuel tank in the parts menu, then open the tuning tab to adjust:

• fuel amount
• fuel weight multiplier

The default fuel amount stays at the normal stock value, but the maximum available fuel volume is greatly increased.

Notes
Very high fuel volumes can add a huge amount of weight to the vehicle.
Very high fuel weight multiplier values can make the vehicle much heavier than normal.
