Can you add the I2 I8 and V4 sounds from the automation modding tools?
-
Author's Response
The what? Automation has those??? When they become available for BeamNG (if ever, idk what the license is) then I'll add them

I didn't know you played GD, and also I know that joke is outdated, I made that config like a year and a half ago, and I just realised how old this mod is lol

Without a doubt, one of the best mods ever made. You can do the wackiest and craziest things with it.

- 5/5,
Been using this mod for possibly a year and a half at this point.
Ain't found had a problem till now.
One thing I like using this mod to make realistically weighted vehicles(like similar to Bronco's, F-series', Silverado's Caprice's/Impala's, 880's, Firedome's etc).
Unfortunately Recently I found a specific issue when using a Beam Axle Front Suspension with Heavy Duty Front Shocks, in say a Standard/Extended Frame H-series, if I lower the 'Weight Scale(Up)' below 0.92 it eventually starts to deform the front suspension(just driving, or even parked, no crashing). It's the shocks from what I can tell(accompanied by sounds from the suspension as it happens). This happens no matter the 'Weight Scale(Down)' setting. This is especially a problem at lower values as it causes damage and misalignment of the the steering.
Fortunately I've only found this problem using HDFS, with the SBFA suspension.
Outside of this I have no other issues to report. This is one of the best mods out of the hundreds I've used since 2016 allowing to put together vehicles I simply could not in most of my time in BeamNG. It removes A LOT of restriction(even with as unrestricted as BeamNG already is) just with the being able to change weight and strength alone.
5/5 at a minimum (Also why no discussion page?).-
Author's Response
There seems to be a general issue with the heavy duty shocks even without my mod. Hard to tell what exactly is wrong with them, try using the medium ones instead.

- 5/5,
This is by far the best mod I have ever used... Keep in mind that I've had over 500 mods installed at once, and maybe a total of 700-ish altogether.
I have a couple suggestions for things to add:
-Fully customizable torque converters for automatic transmissions: It would be really nice to customize the transmission so that the converter locks up and the car has a lot more violent of a shift... I've always had a thing for violent and harsh shifts
-Ability to adjust supercharger sounds similar to turbo sounds: I feel like this is necessary since sometimes the superchargers have way too high-pitched whines to them, so customizing the volume and pitch values would be awesome
However I'm not sure if it's something on my end, whether it's a conflicting mod or something, but the "old" versions of engine sounds don't work for me. Every other sound works but anything with "old" in the name just has no sound at all. In the meantime I'll do a fresh reinstall to see if it's on my end... Best of luck to you!-
Author's Response
The old sounds not working is a game bug. I was pretty sure I added supercharger sound customization but I can double check. And good idea with the torque converter, I can also make a clutch like this, thanks!

Pretty cool mod, the damage options for the engines dont seem to really work quite right, mainly with piston rings, also with how you can make idles negative it makes me wonder if somehow you could mess with the torque settings to somehow get an engine to run backwards

Author's Response
I tried to make a reverse engine but I could never figure it out, if someone knows and tells me then I'll definitely add it

I use it on Maxie's CVPI and it works great, thanks for making it (semi) universal for anything with a license plate!, keep up the good work! (on the mods) Have a great day!

i dont know how to post a comment that's not a rating, but this mod already is a 5 start so ill just do that. it seems that adding the rear electric motor with no2 slot to the vivace will cause a crash, either after adding it or after adding the actual mod in the no2 slot itself.
-
Author's Response
Only happens to me when you try to do a transmission swap on the rear motor without removing the front motor, which I said in update notes to not do, because you are essentially creating hybrid drivetrain which the game doesn't support. Or when you have the n2o slot in both the front and the rear motor which you also obviously shouldn't do, they are the same slot.

Hey,
None of the Vivace gasoline turbos add any power or spin up. Tried the mod on multiple computer but nothin-
Author's Response
Turns out that the Vivace turbos require Cherrier ECU to work. Makes sense since they are electronically controlled. Will make a small update that renames stuff to make it more clear.

- 5/5,
I love this mod but I have one question, I'm trying to make a fast wigeon with the 6.9 v8 and a 7 speed automatic race transmission, and I got it one going up to 208 MPH but I removed it on accident. I'm wondering how I do that agian because now it tops at 137 and the gears will have me revving the car to its limits for a few seconds before it shifts agian, so how do I make it so it hoes that 208 agian and the gears shift quicker?
-
Author's Response
Probably something with the diff final drives.

- 5/5,
Is it possible that you can fix the AWD and RWD (engine swap tab) for the Bastion? Currently the rear goes up as I accelerate, and the car bounces when I try to do a launch.
-
Author's Response
I can't fix stuff like this, it happens on solid axles where the original differential is part of the suspension and removing it makes stuff bouncy. Bastion is not the only car it affects. Not possible to change transmission without removing the diff, and not possible to re-add it in a different slot either. Better don't use transmission swaps on Bastion and other similar cars unless you want to make it FWD.
