I really like it. We have a few hybrid mods out there - but regenerative braking is too strong! When I barely let off the throttle pedal, it starts to brake so much that the wheels lock! I think it's a bug or mis-adjustment

Thanks for supporting! The rear motor's too high regen torque is a mis-adjustment. This problem has been solved in v3.0.1. I've uploaded the fix and now it is waiting for approval.

A long awaited mod! I`ve got a suggestion.
Could you make the generator be more dependent on he throttle input as well as wheel speed. It would be cool if in the "RE" mode the engine would accelerate up to 4500 rpm or so (closer to peak power) when you floor it also with the "engineThrottle" increasing to 1.0 (right now its ether 0 or 0.7).
This way the generator would try to keep up with the increased discharge rate of the battery.
There could be an intermediate power level for when the throttle input is 0.5 <= and < 0.8 as well.
I was messing with your code a bit but couldn`t make this function to work(-

Vivace REEV's range extender is designed to run under the most efficient working conditions to provide electric power. Higher engine speed will worsen both the fuel efficiency and the NVH.
The range extender can keep the SOC even Vivace REEV AWD's speed is higher than 140kph, which is enough for users to go the speed limit of almost all the freeways/highways worldwide.
When throttle> 0.8 and speed is lower than 100kph, Vivace REEV is in kick-down mode. The engine will boost to provide more electric power to the motors since the battery itself may not be able to provide enough power output. Throttle < 0.8 means that Vivace REEV is in normal driving condition, the battery power output is enough and NVH is taken consideration.

Yep, I'm Chinese. BYD's PHEV has been on my plan. However, since there's a Parallel Hybrid Mode in BYD's DM systems, it is a big job to implement all the function in BeamNG. Please wait for my later work!

Diesel engine will never be a good choice for REEV.
Diesel engine’s ignition method makes it incapable with REEV‘s working condition since range extender tend to start & stop a lot. What's more, diesel engine has louder noise and stronger vibration than petrol engine. Last but not least, diesel engine's emission control is a big problem.

有两个小建议:
即使HEV模式下电量还没达到设定的SOC,也可以在停止和极低速下把发动机关闭来减少噪音(如果要避免电池彻底没电,可以在10%电量时自动切成RE模式)
另外RE模式长时间原地发电时发动机会过热,可以在停止时降低RE模式的发动机转速 -

Your mod design is very good, and if it can be improved, hopefully it can add direct engine drive and fuel level display

Thanks for supporting! Energy level display is under development. For direct engine drive, REEV are not designed to do this. I'll design other Hybrid mod to simulate DM-i, which includes direct engine drive.

This reminds me a lot of the Hybrid versions of the Peugeot 308, if this version you made is literally equal to 225 (1.6 Turbo Hybrid in the 308), will you make the 170?(1.2 Turbo Hybrid)
