Volvo 745 GLE 1.0

In 1977, during Volvo's 5th anniversary, Volvo's sales were down and they were barely comming by. Volvo even confirmed that they were going to merge with Saab in may the same year. But in august, that ageement was terminated. Volvo had but two options if they wanted to stay in business; Either just continue to make the 200 series or introduce a new generation. This is when the 700 series came to be.

The 700 series was safer, more roomier and faster. It came both as a saloon and an estate and was offered with both a 4 cylinder and a 6 cylinder engine.

In this particular instance, I have focused on the pre-facelift 745 GLE with a B23E enigne. I have tried to make it as close to the real thing as possible. However since Automation isn't entirely realistic, you might find that the car performs a bit different than the real one. I also tried my hardest to make it look like a 745, extending the plastic bumper all the way to the wheel arch using fuel filler flaps and so on.
