A level made from scratch as practice, with all new textures and objects. Currently includes knitted floor, trees, blocks, and whales. This small island has various objects scattered around and includes a bay, plateau and hill area.
In the longer term I intend to add more variety of objects to make the different areas of the island more interesting, and possibly make some background music. I'm also looking at ways to make the wool actually squishy, but that would probably be very long term goals!
I've had more than one question/speculation this, so here's confirmation for everyone.
The original inspiration was that I had just got the game and wanted to try building a level, but I also wanted to finish knitting this blanket
I did not finish the blanket yet, but it makes up at least 90% of the textures (recoloured) in this mod!
The title is a reference to Yoshi's Wooly World, but I also had Kirby in mind (when I was figuring out the trees) and various other platformers influenced the general style.
This mod file should work just straight in the mod folder with no unpacking

I just want to thank everyone who's checked out my mod and been so positive, I only got the game (and blender) a week before I put this out, it so it's hardly a polished result but I'm inspired to try new things by this great community! I'm not going to make many changes to this particular mod in the super near future but I have some new things I want to make in the meantime.

Can you check in your mod folder, delete all possible versions of this from before (you might have yarnwip and yarnwipv1.1?), then try re-downloading? This worked for someone else!
