A little subcompact hatchback I made for fun in Automation. It's really nothing special, but I found it very entertaining to whip around a track with its nippy handling and bouncy suspension.

The Yandev Vestra (which I'll consider making into a full-fledged brand with models, trims, and such if enough people enjoy driving it) is a Japanese-based subcompact car that would have been in production in the late 90's to early 2000's. It has a 1.2 liter full aluminum DOHC turbocharged I3, with a compression ratio of 10.6:1.

Makes 89.5 horsepower @6400RPM, and has a redline screaming all the way up to 7200RPM. The engine makes 112 lb-ft of torque @3300RPM. Yet despite being a turbocharged engine, the car manages an impressive 44 miles to the gallon peak.

The Vestra is loosely based on the Toyota Yaris and Geo Metro. Let me know your thoughts! This is a car I made in Automation in roughly an hour, so it doesn't look the best on the outside, but I would love to hear what everyone thinks about driving it. This is the first car I've ever made and was proud of.

On that note, thank you to Automation for making it possible for me to make this car! I suck at using 3D rendering software like Blender, so programs like Automation are very helpful for helping people like me get into making my own cars. Credit for the map used to take screenshots goes to thomas25. The map is called DTD Proving Ground, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in taking cars they or others have made through a deadly trial!
