I would split it in half and then model. Just be sure to apply the modifier, or in beamng it will be split in half!
That worked for me. I just have not released anything yet. I would say modeling the interior is your biggest challenge.
Open the .dae file in blender and the apply the rotation. Thats how I fixed my volvo mod.

I think the E-SBR Has a cvt. Check out its jbeam.
