For anyone curious, the remastered Sunburst is called "sunburst2" in the files so it doesn't conflict with the legacy one.
I haven't gotten the chance to try the new update yet but what's the internal name of the new Sunburst? EDIT: found out from a different thread...

The 2.8 Custom config causes the game to freeze for me.
You can fix this by going into the mod files and renaming "hubcaps_16.jbeam" to something else like "hubcaps_16_ibishu.jbeam".
