I experienced something very similar to this in 0.11. I would damage the valvetrain due to over revving, the engine would shut off, then when I tried to turn it back on, the starter motor would go for a long time before the engine actually started.
I kind of hope you guys re-implement the race suspension advanced tuning (fast/slow compression/rebound). Not only that but I hope you guys also re-implement the individual wheel alignment (like right and left). Love the update though and hope for more great content.
Not on the bus, from the game stand point one dual wheel is actually 2 wheels connected by a locked diff.
My personal theory is that they're working on better pathfinding capabilities for the AI, as the navmesh can pre-bake collision information so the car won't just know where the road is, but also where the obstacles are, and the NPC's are just the result of adding this system back in. I'd like for your idea to be true as well, but there's some good reason to doubt that. In addition, my experiments with Generic Space Soldier Man indicated that he had pathfinding abilities and a running animation, but the actual movement system, the necessary bit for a workable RORBot 2.0, was completely unusable (my version had the character flying off into far corners of existence while trying to navigate ten meters in a straight line on flat ground). Could've just been on my end, though. Out of curiosity, what is that song's name? I'm pretty sure I heard it in a STALKER game, and had it stuck in my head for a straight month.
You do hear it in STALKER. I've found it on Youtube by simply typing "Bandit Radio." That's probably the name of the track.
It actually is body on frame (they have separate models), but body and frame are united in one jbeam structure. So, technically, it is very much possible.
Yeah most of the model is pretty much there, however there are some other oddities like the inner fender walls, they shouldn't be there at all. It should be built pretty much exactly like the moonhawk, with the fenders being the only bodywork joining the firewall to the radiator support.
Thats true of more modern SUVs and pickups, think 1990 onwards, however body on frame cars were dying off by that point with cars like the Buick Century being some of the last remaining besides the Panther platform. While the panther platform stayed around until 2011, it was basically unchanged since it was developed in the late 70s. The Grand Marshal and the Moonhawk are basically direct copies of the panther platform underneath so should basically be built the same. Nope, I could even argue the D series is a bit early to have them as comparable trucks like silverado didnt get them until the 2010s, however some 90s trucks have them so I'd say its close enough. Example of a crown vic construction:
Not a bug really, but an inconsistency: You can control the throttle even if there is no connection between engine and cabin.
hi guys, played beamng on this pc for the first time this update but whenever I try to load into a map the game crashes. I have cleared cache, used safe mode and verified the games integrity but no luck with getting it to work. any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm a big fan of the new trailer camera - that saves me a lot of trouble zooming in and zooming out, but it seems that it introduced a new bug: the sound effect for connecting the trailer has disappeared.
What is with the wide body rear bumper of the 200BX not having a license plate even though it has a slot for it
