Hello, Automatics now properly reduce throttle during shifts To me this feature is unrealistic, I have been driving an old 74 Dodge Charger and throttle is never reduced. Feelings were much better with the previous update.
The update is nothing short of a much needed addition to the game. Its fantastic, however I have noticed this graphical problem after I updated the game. The video I've attached speaks for itself. Things to note: This only seems to be a problem with West Coast, USA. Other default maps do seem to have this problem, but not nearly as bad. I have tried Grooved Test Range, Nevada and Utah, USA and there seems to be no problem. I cleared my cache multiple times and disabled my mods, but to no avail. I'm out of options here except for uninstalling and reinstalling, but I don't really want to do that because my WiFi isn't spectacular. Just trying to see if there's a fix to this without uninstalling.
Man, the new sounds are amazing! Absolutely loving the new supercharger whine. Now all I want is a straight-cut whine to compliment the supercharger. Also, even though it took way longer than perhaps necessary, I'm glad that the K-Series/T-Series/'96 Pessima finally have proper skin UVs. To my disappointment, though...the Wentward's price is still at $300K-600K. Will this be fixed in a hotfix or the next update, or is this a permanent decision?
you know, it'd be nice if you guys could document the changes in the wiki and show how to implement new stuff.
That would be too much work to be quite honest. It would just delay development and slow everything down.
it'd help people out when they are stumped on something. like soundscapes. from what I heard, the wiki is missing a parameter for it.
The 'broken glass' SFX is still there. If you don't hear that, I'd as usual check all mods and eventually clean reinstall the game. You would not see any changes about the PostFX stuff, because the fix is the part were you can use other color correction settings (by default we use our own). To do that, open the PostFX Manager, go in the Color Correction tab and click select to choose your cc texture (the game has a bunch located in gameengine.zip\scripts\postfx (and you can create your owns to change the look of the game - they can be on any folder you want) That feature was actually requested, so.. Fancy. Can you please specify what's your GPU? You tried some older drivers or to reinstall? Prices are not really that important or have an actual meaning in-game, so let us focus on higher priority stuff for now. Those would be re-checked entirely when they become relevant anyway We are working on something on that genre, the thing is that documenting that us a lot of time away from development. Will take a while, and more likely only 'not-WIP-stuff' will be documented first (to avoid the hassle of doing double the job)
Idk if it just me or not, but I feel like the cars have extremely weak wheel axles. Sometimes I just sit in a car park or after I spun out, I steer and my wheel just falls off. Prime example here. I spun out, tried to correct it, and the wheel fell off EDIT: There are also no surface sounds when the car is skidding along it´s roof or side / from pieces that have fallen off already
If you haven't (like I see in your screenshot), disable your mod (you should have done anyway before posting here). If persists, do a clean reinstall. Please make sure your antivirus, firewall and etc. are not blocking the game in any way. If persists, give a Support ID: https://wiki.beamng.com/Support#A_developer_asked_for_a_Support_ID
I don't run a antivirurs ( only the windows one ) it was fine before the update also dosent work in safemode
Bug report (?) If you're using an DCT or automatic car with an option for manual shifting mode, like the bus or sunburst, the transmission shifts into each mode just fine when using paddles or keyboard, but if you're using the G27 H-shifter to shift thru modes, once you put the H-shifter into 6th gear which is in my case used to select Manual shifting mode (default settings I belive) it throws the car into 1st gear, no matter what gear the trans was before. It works fine if I shift from D to S, but M mode doesn't seem to keep the gear the trans was before mode shifting begun. Videos: Bus: Sunburst:
So when using the H shifter it goes into M1 and when using buttons it correctly goes in M whatever you were in before?
yup,on the sunburst video you've got all of the binding information I've thought you will need. --- Post updated --- Of course, If you need any more info, just let me know, I just did my best to include as much as it as I could in the video.
