Still cant use mod. Redownloaded. I know it was out of date and thats why it wouldn’t work. Any way to get it to work with hotfix?

How exactly are you doing it? It sounds like you are doing this wrong.
Follow these instructions:
Delete the old version (located in mods folder)
Install the new version (in your mods folder)
Do not have both new AND old versions installed!
I have tried this but it does not work.
you should really make the standard vw bugs float too, the old vws could actually float for a bit if you drive it into water
Presuming you have the latest version installed (uploaded a couple days ago) follow these instructions:
-launch in safe mode
-activate only ‘bug.zip’ in your mod manager
-test the mod
Also what is not working for you? Does it just not spawn?

I love this mod! Thank you! however i am having a couple issues (and i want to provide some constructive feedback)
#1 Chrome does not load, all items that should be chrome are just gloss black (body paint work fine tho)
#2 White-wall tyres are not loading (loads as a black tyre)
#3 Rear suspension is a mess, only bouncy soft or hard, Wide track suspension adds extra wheel base smashes the rear fenders, and engine sits on the ground. (should have Swing or IRS as options not leaf or live axles)
#4 Engine tunability options hopefully will be refined with more options such as what they have done with the "Piccolina" those would be perfect!!!! (of coarse keep the Herbie engine option too)
#5 Braking is brutally strong
#6 Handling is ok, but i hope the physics will be refined more as well. Again the Piccolo physics are feel much more closer to a real Beetle. (I'm a VW collector and builder)
I appreciate the time and effort you have put into this mod and i hope my comments are not rude but somewhat helpful for future updates.
I am happy to help provide you any engineering information including CAD (however i don't have any experiance in making soft body physics in BeamNG)

For a weird reason the chrome is black with graphic settings at 'lowest'. Set it at least to low.
Also - currently there are no whitewall tires in the mod, only the goodyears+firestones.
Suspension and driving dynamics are on the roadmap and the breaks are currently that strong to keep him controllable at +200mph - they would need to be dynamic also to behave proportional to his torque. I hope to be able to implement the commonalities with Piccolina into the mod.
You mean you can simulate vehicle physics with CAD or do you actually have CAD files of the beetle? Eitherway sounds awesome. Always thankful for any kind of help - send me a pm ; )
Another thing this mod needs - glowmaps. Also, the gauges don't light up.
Do you plan on making more configs of the normal Bettle?

but every time i try to download it doesn't work
1. Make sure you are placing the mod in Documents>BeamNG.drive>Mods
2. Make sure you are downloading bug.zip and the old versions are deleted.
3. Clear cache
I cant seem to get the engine to respond as it should with that super high performance model am I doing something wrong?
i cant stop him from making that bloop sound help!!!
Once you earn more trust and he goes faster it should stop.
