0.23.4.1 deleted my controller bindings

ok i can't provide any pictures or videos right now because i'm on my phone and don't have access to my laptop.

i connected my PS4 dualshock4 controller both ways, but still i couldn't control my car, and i also tried spawning a different one replacing my default.

i checked the controls section and realized that my controller bindings were gone, and if i created the same ones i had before, it would make duplicates in the same spot and the binding would not work.

could anyone help?
