In the partselector is a little bug...The "live update" box in the tuning index tab automaticly gets triggered after customise some of the wheel adjustments and press "apply". I hope it's easy to understand what I mean. Otherwise it is no bug and I am just wrong.
I think I fixed the problem. I copied all mods from my levels and vehicles files and moved them into the beamNG file in the steamapps folder.
I can't seem to find where I can change the turbo characteristics. It's so cool to have BOV sounds now!
Not a bug (though not exactly working how we want it). Plastic parts are meant to be able to break, and when beams break, the corresponding pieces of the mesh disappear. Eventually we might try to do something nicer.
I tried the Android app...imagine my surprise when I found out that it actually worked! (I fully expected it to break on my first try). Everything else so far seems normal to me. My only complaint is that steering with the app is very twitchy. I know it's 90 degrees left to 90 degrees right, and that's great for using with a cellphone but hard to apply to a real steering wheel that does 2.5 turns lock to lock. Maybe open up the degree range a bit? 110 to 110? And while I found that the steering is very twitchy, I also found out something else...
The badges for the newer Ibishu Pessima are broken, I have removed any possible conflicting mods. I'll reinstall BeamNG to see if it is fixed. -Update- No...
You still have something conflicting. It looks like it's loading the old version of the material, pointing to a nonexistent midsize_lettering_o.dds. Delete your cache folders from Documents\BeamNG.drive, as well as any "vehicles" folder.
This has to be the coolest update yet. Good job, guys! Oh, and I guess I didn't read the changelog close enough because I was confused by a crackling sound coming from an '89 Pessima I just crashed. I looked at all 5 I had spawned and noticed the first one was ON FIRE. Can't wait to see how that plays out in an actual event.
I'm running Android version 5.0.1 and I can't get the app to connect. I'm on the same wifi connection as the computer, but it just keeps timing out. Any ideas?
I have and I do not have anything close to conflicting for the Pessima. But you never know. I'll isolate any mods.
Had a couple minutes to look at the 0.5 update and: The name Turbo Rabbit had me in tears. Nice one lads. The new Pessima is a curious one. 4WS and A/RWD in a 1980s semi premium sedan... Pretty swish. Taillights look slightly too modern for the car however. Could be passed off as facelift taillights so it's still believable. Also, whoever's responsible for that pun on the 0.5 Facebook announcement needs to be fired.
Delete or relocate your entire BeamNG.drive folder in Documents, and reinstall the game from scratch (delete local content, then redownload from Steam).
One question: Why the heck does the old Pessima have frickin' AWS, but the newer one doesn't? Anyway, nice stuff that you brought out. Especially the different interiors.
Okay big problem When ever i load in no matter what the vehicles tab shows no vehicles. the only way to drive new vehicles is by using the senarios
