Just what the title says. I can't get my UI to work in 1440p, no matter what I try. I've reinstalled, activated safe mode, etc etc. Nothing works. After latest hotfix patch, it also has made the new smooth alt+tabbing no longer work. Now, doing it makes my display flash black and resets my blue light filter. Again, I've tried the game in safe mode, and it's still bugged.

Are you running in fullscreen or borderless mode?

Is your monitor set to 1440p in windows settings?

If your display resolution in windows settings isn't set to 2560x1440, when you Alt + Tab into Beamng it will change resolution, and the screen will flash black. (If you're using an ultra-wide monitor resolution might be different)

Could you explain a little more by 1440p UI being broken?

Yes my display is in 1440p. It literally worked fine before the latest hotfix patch. Nothing on my end has changed. So when I start up the game, the UI is blurry. Like it's clearly not 1440p, and instead it's 1080p. (again, it worked before latest hotfix patch.)

There really seems to be something wrong with this game and 1440p because it was broken two updates ago, and now it's broken again.

I try setting it to 1440p in the display settings in game, and it still doesn't do anything. I hit apply, and it buffers a bit, but the UI stays the same 1080p resolution. I try applying 1080p resolution, and hit apply, nothing changes after a short buffer time. I set it to like 720p, and it works. I set it to 1440p though, and it sets it to 1080p.

If you switch UI presets in game does the bug still occur?

Are you running an AMD graphics card?

You could try to run the Vulkan Renderer, or launch the game in safe mode, if you haven't already.

One of you settings could have been effected by a mod, I have had that before. Try renaming your 0.31 userfolder and try then. I had a mod add something to a file in settings so I couldn't solve it by deactivating the mod.

Press Win + R to open the run command, then type in %localappdata%, locate BeamNG.Drive and open it, then rename the 0.31 file folder.

If Beamng couldn't be found in local app data, in the run prompt type %appdata% instead of %localappdata%

Nope, this didn't work :/ I was excited, because it was the right resolution in windowed mode, but as soon as I go fullscreen, it just sets it to 1080p.
