(Cancelled due to lack of interest in beamng drive, im sorry!) Hi guys , i have be interesed and i stated in make a car based on VW Beetle for Beamng.drive, and will be called the ETK Mk78-Series! Name of the car may be chaged in the future if i make a better name. General info of this vehicle (still in wip): ETK Mk78-Series is basically a affordable and economy car, not much that i can say because im still working on the lore of it. Status of the vehicle's progress: Model: still in progress Jbeam: not started Configs: not started Textures: started but only for the headlamps (texture for the headlamps was got from autobello) Photos of the restarted progress: and the photos of its wireframe: Here some of technical infos of this vehicle: Layout: Rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive. Engines: 1000 cc H4, 1100 cc H4, 1200 cc H4 , 1300 cc H4 , 1500 cc H4 and 1600 cc H4. Transmissions: 4-speed manual transaxle, 4-speed semi-automatic transaxle, and 3-speed semi- automatic transaxle. Price Value: Still in wip. What is planned on it (Also some of the planned stuffs is noted in my notepad that i will send when its done): -Will be released on repository (so this is why i made a fanmade name using ETK). -Will also have prototypes versions (called ETK Prototype Mk78-Series too). -Herbie configs planned lol. -Some extra accessories and custom cofigs is planned. Hope you guys enjoy the progress of my first mod and have a nice day .
nice, i always loved the beetle (espcially because of the number 53(you know who im talking about)), looks coo, tho maybe make it a little less similar to the beetle, or not, its yout choice, but still really cool.
Finally!! I've been waiting for a high quality not-Beetle Can't almost all of the mechanicals of the Autobello be repurposed for this to make things easier? They're pretty close to what a Type 1 had.
yea lol, sorry for my mistake now i put the photos back. --- Post updated --- i was editing some stuffs and i didn't noted that i removed the photos lol, but now is showing i think
Looks good so far! Just a suggestion, maybe have a few perpendicular edge loops on the door and hood? It would lead to more even polyflow and better deformation.
I kinda always wanted a Beetle mod that isn't the Herbie mod, with working lights and proper damage and stuff, and more historically accurate with parts from different eras! I agree with some of the others that ETK Type 1 is a better name, maybe even not ETK but some different fictional brand, because ETK is kinda luxurious and doesn't really fit for a brand of cheap cars for people like Autobello or Volkswagen.
ETK is a luxury brand, but were talking about the 50s, 60s and 70s here, they might of made some cars that have luxury but for a cheaper price, like the A-Series
