Some time ago, I decided to build a 60s handbuilt track special in Beam. This idea materialized in the form of the Halldale H550, a state-of-the-art one from 1968.

It has a midmounted 487 HP (stated gross output is 550 HP, hence the name) 460 ci tuned V8, coupled to a 5-speed race manual and housed in a fibreglass body. Sub-4.5 second 0-60, nearly 1.2g of lateral acceleration. Watch out for the snap oversteer.
