WIP 1972 Dodge Polara Modeling WIP

Since this is a longterm project. I decided this car deserves it's own thread, the 1972 Dodge Polara.

 

Nice! Looks really good!!

I personally have always enjoyed the styling of the Polara.

 

It's one of my favorite 70's cars. I especially like that swoosh that goes down the side of the bodywork.

 

Same. I also love how the general shape of the car flows with the interior design as well

 

That's the beauty of these fuselage era Chryslers. It's hard to find a bad design from that era. At least before 1973.

 

Looks good! Beamng needs more Mopars, and c-bodies defiantly don't get the love they deserve.

 

They hardly get enough love in real life. I don't think I've ever seen one in person.

 

I've never even heard of this car before but I'm defiantly excited for this.

 

Thanks! Yeah I wouldn't blame you, first time I heard Polaras existed at all was from a GTA V mod, it was a 1971 model. Here I am making the 1972 model which not many people have made before.

After several days, an update for you!

I got all the main body panels complete, at least the ones that are supposed to be metal. I still need to do glass, and trim/filler pieces, but I'm making progress.
