TAZ Mir was an ordinary family sedan produced since 1976 in the Soviet Union until 2007 in Russia.
Back in 1973 TAZ (Тольяттинский Aвтомобильный Завод, Tolyatti Automotive Plant) asked Ibishu if they could build a car of their own based on Ibishu's around 5 year old Miramar platform. Ibishu approved the decision and in 1976 the first TAZ Mir rolled off the production line. It was offered with multiple (not so) different engine options and a few colors to choose from. It even had a wagon version. It was quite successful in rallying and it won most competitions it entered. The production of the early model TAZ Mir lasted until 1986 when it was decided to update the vehicle to be more safe and modern looking. In 1989 a Coupe concept was made but only a few were ever made. After the collapse of the Soviet Union in the beginning of the 90s there were attempts to reduce the costs of the production by weakening the cars and removing parts. This scheme thankfully did not last long and the production of the Mir returned to normal soon after. It took TAZ a few years to get the production back to where it was before the collapse of the Soviet Union. In 1992 industrial division of TAZ decided it was time for a proper chassis cab variant of the Mir to be made. The new chassis cab version featured the 1.5l engine from top of the line Mirs.
TAZ Mir continued to be sold just like it was before without any sort of updates beeing made to it. The production of both lasted until 2007 when TAZ decided to stop producing the iconic Mir.

TAZ Baikal was the first modern SUV produced by the Soviet automaker TAZ in the Soviet Union since 1981, until 2014 in Russia. In 1975, when TAZ Mir was still a year away from being introduced, TAZ decided to start developing a new SUV based on the TAZ Mir platform, which would be the first unibody construction SUV in the world. Developing of the vehicle took 5 years when it was finally released in 1980. The only engine offered in the first 11 years of it beeing in production was the 1.5l engine from the TAZ Mir which barely compensated for the torque the small SUV really needed. In 1991 TAZ partnered up with Autobello, the famous Italian car company and TAZ started using Autobello 1.7 liter turbo diesel 4 cylinder engines for TAZ Baikal as well as the TAZ Mir which recieved it in 1993. The diesel applications were not so popular even though they had better fuel milage and were more reliable. In 1992 Baikal was facelifted with a more plasticy and modern look. It recieved the more modern door styling as well as interior from the late model TAZ Mir, which was already in producion since 1986. The same year, industrial division of TAZ decided it was time for a proper chassis cab variant of the Baikal to be made. The new chassis cab version featured a more powerful and bigger displacement engine. The SUV Baikal lasted until 2012, when it was modernized and called "Tour". The Tour lasted until 2016 when they finally decided to end production for 36 years. Chassis cab version was in production until 2017 when the parts supply finally ended.

Questions that will be probably asked:

1) Will you add a TAZ Baikal, like the Niva legend or a 5 door Baikal?
No Niva legend and probably no 5 door either, atleast for now.

2) Why is there not a base model version of the Deluxe?
Because In the lore of TAZ, the TAZ Mir Deluxe is just a trim level of the TAZ Mir and not a seperate vehicle, just take the 2107 as a 2105 trim level.
If it is a Deluxe - 2107,
If it is not a Deluxe - 2105.
This is the way I integrated the 2107 styling cues into the mod. I hope to never see this question ever again.

Since on miramar (the basis for this car) there are no skins, will you create your own, for example, a old and a policeman?

Looks quite great, and close to the real car (Lada 2105), and since i'm Ukrainian, and we have those things daily on the roads, it's pretty interesting to see a lore friendly version of it in BeamNG.
