Presumably another whacky vehicle from here in the UK, is the Milk Float. These were designed to deliver milk silently to peoples houses in the early hours of the morning so as not to wake people up. These go back before vehicles were quiet and back before huge superstores where milk is cheap; though are still a regular site early mornings. They run on huge 72 Volt Batteries and have powerful motors, so as a result they are very, very heavy (I have heard up to 5 tons for this small truck when it has milk on!) and only do about 18mph on the electric motor and get about 30 miles to a charge. They have a very strong chassis to cope with the weight of the milk, the cheese fridge and the hugely heavy batteries, though I would imagine the cabs to be thin steel, aluminum or fibreglass. They dont go fast but would inflict horrific damage on most of the current BeamNG cars if you rear ended it at speed, and if dropped from a height onto any of the cars it would probably flatten them quite nicely. I would imagine it also to handle well in a head on with the cars, but not so well in a higher up, window height level (some of the obstacles) due to the thin cab. Your having the three wheeler so I thought I would suggest this. (imported from here) By the way, they also make a three wheeled one: Large Image http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped..._Wales_And_Edwards_Rangemaster_Milk_Float.jpg
Last time I saw a milk float was when I lived in monarch road, for reference I moved out of there 12 years ago. I didn't know they were still around. We need one though.
The funniest thing that I have seen is one of these going up the M2, with a police escort, and many motorists forgetting that they could overtake it! (The A2 was closed for some reason)
It took the wrong exit off a ring road and ran out of electricity in the batteries 4 hours later. The driver being arrested soon after.
