You know what, it is. I have never used anything other than a keyboard to play and I can shift easily.
If someone wants to drive in automatic, go and get the I-series transmisson and pop it into the Quattro. It works for me
I find this mod awesome. I have no problems shifting with a keyboard, its two buttons. Cant find a reason in hell to argue with the creator of a mod just to change that persons mind about something so that it suits you. Respectless and also the reason why there is so many threads about the bad behaviour some bring to this forum. If the author explains the reason for a decision and you havd explained yourself one time just leave it there, no need to try and win them over since they have apperently made up their mind. If i were the author and would have to argue with ppl all the time i would stod making mods. Much love.
Not to argue or cause problems, but why do you seem to absolutely refuse to support arcade automatic? I respect all the decisions you make but it would be really nice if you could add it. I guess i'll do the same technique that Vinh did and change the automatic's gear ratios to be the same as the manual. --- Post updated --- And what do you mean by seperate?
Woah Why is the mod 109 MB? That's very big for what is only a car mod. Oh, and before I test it, I have one question: Does this have a rally config? If so, are the gears configured correctly? --- Post updated --- Okay; I just tested it Looks like there is only one config. Overall, the car is done pretty well. But, I'm not sure if it's just me, but the car feels like it handles a little too easily through corners. Either that, or I might be underestimating Audi's technology. The transmission is also good too, although a little odd. Quick to accelerate in the first gear, but when shifting up, the car begins to struggle accelerating. Up a slight angle, the car struggles to accelerate in fourth gear. A general guideline I notice is that rally cars can redline from idle to second gear without a problem. Just take note of this when you create future updates of the mod. Oh, and please add downforce to the rear wing and front lip too. Good luck
Ignore all of my comments from yesterday, I was in a terrible mood. Very good mod! It is of top quality, as it crashes quite well, and it handles quite well too. All in all a great mod, as much as I would appreciate Arcade Auto Support. Still, if this is what you want of your mod, it is your decision.
It is not a rally car, it is street car with standard factory tune. That said, I have not yet tested this mod, I did download it, but somehow haven't got time to test it yet. Reading trough all this messages gives me idea that maybe features that are different in mod compared to how features usually are in mods, would be good to be advertised so that people does not face unexpected as that tends to lead to conflict. Of course I haven't read readme or description and I think anyone that has not read has no right to complain about anything, including me Car has over 300hp and over 400Nm of torque it seems, max torque comes around 5400rpm as well as peak power, it has plenty of power, much more than factory street variants. Mod is a good start, keep working on it!
