A functional pessima wagon has been released, you can find it here http://www.beamng.com/resources/djplopper-mega-pack-mod.451/updates old photos of my project
This is so great, there are already about 5 '89 Pessima wagons in the forum and no one want to release it, and finally here comes one
on my own it will never be realeased unfortunately as ive explained above I cant jbeam or edit materials, this is more of a probe for community intrest --- Post updated --- that isn't even a 1989 pessima man, hasty forum searches don't make for good dismissals, not only is it the wrong car, but its also old and broken as far as I know
Looks nice! Also, its a race to who can release their 89 pessima wagon. Warble, yorkstargaming?, dtroxx or betatester. links(most likely not up to date) yorkstargaming dtroxx betatester
I really didn't think replacing my Pessima dae with this would work, but it did, that's cool (don't worry that was my alt computer), anyway, ill at least attempt at getting this to a playable state, but no promises, also I know how to fix the windows, I should've extruded them instead of simply stretching them
Is the rear hatch window going to be transparent or just plastic? Or actually if it's not see through will it specifically be for the rally? Anyway, whosoever wagon mod gets released first. I'm counting on this one. Good luck!
im working on the windows, and I solved the jaggedness problem pretty much, its because of the method I was using to join edges, im busy with university and I don't have much time to work on it but I will when I can like tonight I had a little extra time
Alright, I can understand that, was just asking to see what was up but anyway, can't wait i see a great amount of potential!
Oh great. An other one pessima 1989 wagon mod. LEts hope that this time the maker doesnt make it private.
It really does annoy me when they do that. If you want it private, then don't share it privately. I've also been working on a pessima wagon. It has a decent jbeam, but I can't do any of the meshes, so I just slammed the rear of the Covet with the body of the Pessima. The tailgate is the only thing that does look good. If dude wants to team up or something, I'd be more than happy to supply jbeam assistance.
(Quoting the both of you, so you can both get ideas ) Would it be possible to change the front and/or rear lights? Some ideas:
I actually think that the lights look fine. How is the jbeam looking? Can we get a pic?. It is looking really nice! I am open to help you betatesting, if you need some help. Also, seeing the pics that you already gave us, the roof is looking extrange, as the roofline breaks when it reaches the new wagon part.
I don't know if you are talking to me or not (since this isn't my thread), but in case you are; I know the roofline sucks. I'm not a modeler; I jbeam and think of practical configs. All I did do is literally cut-delete and copy-paste the back of the covet onto the pessima, and made it slightly more narrow. The mesh is just until the jbeam is more complete/until someone offers modeling help. the spikiness is just from the seam where the old roofline ends and the new one starts. In case it wasn't directed towards me, sorry 'bout that.
if I was going to change it, it would look like this, this picture is my car, a 1988 Toyota Camry Station wagon, that's why I was motivated to attempt this mod, the pessima already is a camry/accord clone --- Post updated --- maybe you could help, im completely unfamiliar with jbeaming, perhaps if I get more of the model done ill send you a copy of it
