Ok, so I've made progress. I've started to modify the body, trunk, and bumper jbeams, moved the rear suspension jbeam into place, added light textures, added VTD AWD (sunburst computer-controlled center diff but with 36/64 torque split), RWD, and FWD (even though this is a 1996 SVX), added SVX wheels, added sounds, added adaptive power steering from the etk 800, and a few other things that I can't remember. I'm getting nodes into place but I'm bad at editing beams. Also, I'm not really sure about how to create skins like a world rally blue skin or black roof. I'm also going to add cloth seats and standard interior.
Yes, I have no intentions of making it private. If a mod was going to be private then it probably wouldn't be in the land section
it wouldnt be in any section OT: very nice work! id love to help out with that... interesting... jbeam. looks a bit too rough around the edges.
Lol yeah, I could send you the file to work it out if you want. The spiking might also have to do with the rather high poly model that this is (Thanks Turn 10). I've really just been working on cosmetic things and getting textures as of right now.
Hey ladies and gentleman. First, id like to say... oops (yes that's widebody) So I've done some stuff. Heavily decreased poly count so it would perform a little bit better in Beam, started working on some custom parts like that widebody fender (still a wip) and a nice new aftermarket spoiler (coming soon), fixing glowmap textures and glow positioning because that was a bit wonky, and a few other minor things. Otherwise, thats all I got for you all for now. Have a great day!
wen redy --- Post updated --- Sorry for the spam ladies and gents, but I'm working fairly fast haha - Fixed wonky glowmaps - Drift config (which you saw previously) - Lowered .dae size from 80mb to 65mb. - Adjusted node weight to make the car have a more realistic feel. - Created an info file and config for the Stock SVX so it shows up correctly - Added the widebody fenders (time to add a new suspension to look good on this new part : p) Up next/To-Do: - 4-Wheel-Steering (Done by @SlickNick924, edited as needed by me). - Finish the aftermarket spoiler. - Start on the aftermarket taillights with dynamic lighting. - Start on widebody rear fender flares, front bumper, and rear bumper. - Fix some texture issues I noticed. - Fix the stock front suspension, it's in too much. - Gauge needles (most likely done by @SlickNick924) - Correct factory color options and names. - Some other secrets
That’s what’s already on it. I just posted a test config with stock wheels to show the issue with the front suspension Jbeam. Just scroll up a bit to @SlickNick924 ’s post and take a look. Thanks! But thank nick for this beauty, not me haha. I’m just here for fixes and extra parts
speaking of RHD, dont kill me @SlickNick924 , but i think i made a typo with the car... Repo name anyone? On a more serious note, this will be the final progress update from me for a bit. - Added loads of new parts ( @TokyoSouls ) - Fixed front suspension positioning ( @SlickNick924 ) - Started working on the colors - Made my own aftermarket part brand (TokyoCustoms TM) Some of the new parts mentioned are: - Roof Scoop (still a work in progress, no pictures yet) - New Front Bumper and Rear Bumper apart of Kit #1 - Rollcage aka: yes, the thing that protects you from rollovers. for the meems - And a TokyoCustoms (TM) spoiler also apart of Kit #1 Pics: (the rollcage is hardly visible, sorry. but dont worry, it's there. also yes i put it in with the rear seats, dont judge. who need rear leg room anyways) ------- ------- (ignore the nonexistant exhaust) ------- Hope you guys like what I've done! If you have any questions, feel free to shoot either me or @SlickNick924 a PM. But that's it for me for a little while. Thank you guys for supporting this project, as we are working very hard to assure we produce a quality product for you fine people! Also, Don't ask for release dates.
