1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee [Remake] 0.5 / Grand Explorer malware?

After installing and using the 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee [Remake] 0.5 mod this popped up. Does anyone know if it is part of the mod or not? I couldn't find anything on the internet about it.

 

Where did you get the mod from?

 

Lack of any company/author mention, naming the files as software, this seems SUSPICIOUS. Regular setup mods(like lspdfr) don't have terms/conditions like this.

 

Was this installed by a .exe by any chance? (Some old world of mods mods were installed via .exe)

you download mods as a zip and put them onto the mods folder

That is not how BeamNG mods (or mods for games) are installed lol, but do not install a mod via an executable.

You'll probbaly get adware, which in OP's screenshot, it is an ad blocker.

 

All is going well I installed Bitdefender and I seem to have no malware
