    **bump**

    After being mostly quiet about progress for 6 months, I want to apologize and show to you all how is "development" going.

    I've been working sometimes on car model lately. Progress is rather slow, but I'm still motivated to finish it someday.
    I'm helping with other mods too, like Ibishu Kashira or other Waboll Mods™.
    Still no idea when it will be available to download but I'm going to write what changed since last progress update.

    Biggest and most important change was fixing scale of model. It was way too big in compare to irl one, so I scaled it to proper size (not in game yet). That's mean I have to rework jbeam as well, and now I thinking about using updated base for it, instead of fixing current one. Most of current jbeam is based on hatch from BeamNG 0.14. So it's kinda outdated even before release of mod. Only updated jbeam is drivetrain including engines with sounds, as well gearboxes and electric engine based on real one.
    In current version of jbeam weight is realistic, but behavior is really bad. Car is really wobbly and behaves unrealistic.
    Obviously after scaling it down, I'll have to make 13 inch wheels so it could be much more accurate.


    This is how off was model before fixing it's scale today.

    Body textures and UV maps are not that important for me at the moment. Model is still WIP so making and fixing uvs all the time is kinda pointless.
    1.4 liter engine is now also in-game and it's working really good.

    Body model is completely reworked now. Car is not made from paper anymore.

    Shading looks much better than before, model is much less square in many places, still need a lot of attention, especially lacks of many details, like door handles, and other stuff. I modelled car inside by hand, instead of using solidify modifier in Blender.

    Today I focused work on engine bay. I adapted hatch engines to make them similar to Fiat Fire engines. They aren't 1:1, but I'm not that good in cars to make realistic engine model myself. Problem was 900 engine. It's different than bigger series. It's not even Fire engine. It's old OHV Fiat 100 series engine. It's known from 50's Fiat 600. It was used in many Fiat cars, mostly with carburetor, but in Seicento it got electric injection. For that one I used I4 Hopper engine model. I edited it to make it a bit similar to real one.

    These three models will be used for (probably) 4 engine variants.
    DOHC model is suitable for both 1.2 16V and 1.4 T-Jet engines.

    Also all pipes for turbo and radiators are placed properly now. Now more mismatched pipes!

    Interior is still slightly edited hatch. Nothing really interesting for now. And most likely it will be similar in first Alpha/Beta versions when I'll release it to public.

    thats nice, i have a lot of experience with fiats irl the engines look good, you have the point with the 600 engine bing quite used in other models

    I was working a lot on Piccolina last days. Jbeam is now completely reworked, and fits car really well :rolleyes:
    Also I added many details to car mesh.

    And yeah i recorded two videos for show how car handle.
    Cruising video is version with 0.9L 35 hp engine, speeding is 90 hp 1.2L 16V
