just follow a simple tutorial, it worked for everyone out their who makes models now! we didn't just download modeling software and begin. Theres really no such thing as a natural at this, all you need is a little bit of skill with computers and a little bit of skill with art!
Yeah you can just give it a go, start with small blender tutorials and go from there, it takes a long while to learn but it's worth it, I don't think any us can speed model yet, when I can speed model I'll start taking request because to model a full car for BeamNG takes a looooong time so your request at be a long shot. Speed modeling someone can do it in a few hours but as it is it takes days or weeks to put out a car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nobody can do parkour before they can crawl Start with a cube and work your way up. A car is not a good first project, mugs seem popular. Practice is required. Modelling isn't for everyone either, not everyone on the planet can do everything.
I think this is great advice. If I wanted to start making cars, I'd start with simple objects first and practice adding accurate jbeams to them - maybe a refrigerator because it has two doors that can swing open and a hinge that could snap so the doors fly off, yet it's basically just a bunch of rectangles.
