I know you are still working on this mod but when you start making the Dodge Ram can you add a beater trim with the Cummins engine with it
Very impressive! Still very WIP, but it's good enough to use in orbit camera. Also crashes pretty decent!
I really like it! It would have been cool if it included more factory configs. I'd also like to report/suggest a few things: Something is wrong with the Arrowboard configuration; it is completely unusable. It floats to the southwest as soon as I spawn it and I can't use it. The front bumper has no rear faces. The crew cab option has no rear seats. The diesel engines don't work at all, only petrol ones. I can't remove the supercharger from the V8 engines. Maybe some optimisation? The car makes my game lag a little (a skill issue on my side, I know). There are a few leftovers from the D-Series. I understand the jbeam's been edited to fit the car as much as possible. Maybe adapt them, remove them altogether, or something. As soon as the car spawns, something breaks. Maybe adapt the wheels from the Bastion with bigger tyres? Other than that, I like it.
I haven't gotten to try it out yet but for the diesel engines did you change the gas tanks? (if they are there idk I haven't gotten it yet.)
Yes its still really early wip. Tbh i dont think it was quite ready for public but i wanted to get opinions. When the new update came out it broke all of the configs and i must’ve missed the arrowboard one when i fixed them. Bastion wheels should already fit, you’d just have to find them in the parts selector which i planned on doing myself for some configs later. I believe the whole truck right now is under 300k polys so i dont know if i can optimize it much further without sacrificing detail. And what do you mean exactly by something breaks?
I completely understand. Also, by "something breaks", I mean that nothing on the car breaks on spawn, but sometimes, something inside the car, or some sort of "thump" or "bump", can be heard as soon as I spawn it.
Yeah, also having some issues with this one. Aside from the obvious issue with the Arrowboard config, for me, when I spawned the regular Megacrew config, the front passenger's side door opened (which I fixed with a reset of the vehicle), and even on gentle acceleration, I get an 'Over Rev Risk', which tells me the truck could use some rev limit tweaking, as well. Correction: It was 'Over Torque Risk'.
Yes the door is a crew cab jbeam issue i have to figure out, and from my testing im guessing you were using one of the diesel engines. I used irl 6.7 Cummins torque figures and for some reason Beam isnt happy about it so i have to figure that one out --- Post updated --- That would probably be the crew cab jbeam not playing nice. I heard it a few times when using the crew cabs. Its about time to attempt custom jbeam if i can figure it out. Ive been successful so far with adding on to existing jbeam, hopefully from scratch it isnt too much more difficult.
Tbh i really like the look of that config. Would you mind sending me it so i can add it to the official configs? If you want you can come up with the name for it too
