First off, been playing the game since like 2014 on the demo with a crappy laptop. Then got a gift-card for X Mas and used it to buy it back before it was on steam. Then got it on Steam like 2 years ago. Now I enjoy it with a fully built PC that's a year old tomorrow.

    But enough of the non-sense.

I was recently driving a 2017 Chevy Impala with the V6 and realised that BeamNG doesn't properly simulate Tachometer and Speedometer lag. Maybe this feature isn't built in, but I noticed the Tachometer UI lags realistically but the car's tachometer doesn't lag at all. The tachometer on the manual transmission should also be a bit smoother when pressing the throttle. It should have a lot of "play" in it when giving gas rather than vibrating. The timing from input to reaction is too quick for the tacho and speedo.

While watching a video of a Hellcat, I had an idea about enhancing driving modes. Using the system put in place, this idea seems plausible. To my knowledge, driving style can be modified by either changing the ESC mode or by changing the transmission mode with an Auto capable of "S" or "M." With that, this idea breaks into 2 parts.

    Part 1: ESC
The ESC can change more than just Traction Control and Stability Control. Using the ETK 800 as an example, for Sport, it can stiffen the suspension and the steering and maybe lower the car. Maybe rename the "ESC OFF" to "Race" and make it turn TC and ESC near off while stiffening the suspension and steering the max amount. To turn it "off" maybe add a shortcut similar to holding the "TC" button in a car to completely disable it.
If that's too much of a fustercluck, maybe input a UI similar to the Hellcat's Driving Modes selector or Volkswagen DCC menu.

    Part 2: Transmission

Since Sport and Manual are already in the game, maybe they can do a bit more than change shift points. Sport currently increases shift points and makes shifts more aggressive. Maybe, it can make the exhaust louder like the V8 Mustangs.
It can also change throttle input by making the car's input look more like a graph of x^(1/3) where X>0.

These were some 11:35 PM ideas... It would be great if they could be added into the game. They'd make the experience better.
