Evolution, Revolution. At long last, the legend itself makes a comeback into modern BeamNG. After not receiving updates for over 4 years, I decided it would be great to make a little refresh of @Tsutarja495's R8 for myself. After posting some pictures here and there, it garnered enough interest to the point @Random 2 (kratos) approached me and suggested turning it into something more. And so, we started working together on our biggest project that we can now bring to you guys after being provided with permission to do so. Since the start of this project, we've basically flipped the mod a whole 180 with stuff such as (but not limited to): - PBR materials and lights all around - - new and revamped parts (new models for wheels, tires, bumpers, interior options, and many, many more) - - new trims (such as the e-tron and LMX, with more cool stuff like the amazing V12 TDI on the way) - - jbeam updates (still heavily WIP and does NOT reflect the finished product) - - texture updates all throughout the car - - new custom sounds - - full factory color palette with every single known R8 color - - and so, so much more.. - The mod is still VERY far from done with lots of things yet to be added, and we're still learning as we go. This entire project has helped us earn new friends, new connections in the community, and gain a lot of modding experience, as this mod has been a huge learning curve in terms of BeamNG modding. Thank you to everyone who has helped us out with anything on the car or helped us learn and understand how to do stuff right. had this mod back in like 2020s it was pure fun now testing the mod and getting some nostalgia from 2020 I LOVE IT

Will there be a V12 tdi ? --- Post updated --- That s Audi Le Mans quattro prototype it was basically unfinished audi type 42 (1st gen of Audi R8)

It most definitely isn't anything near a Scintilla sound. Mentioned in the main post, it's most certainly coming. Can't have the e-tron and not bring the polar opposite with it. As kratos mentioned, we'll most definitely try to add the LMQ concept along with the Darius config.
the mod exclusively uses custom sounds, the scintilla sounds NOTHING like what the V8 R8 does, nor does it sound remotely close to the V10 the V12 TDI sounds are also being worked on by a friend, so that too will have custom sounds
