2008-2015 Holden VE/VF Sportwagon

Been a while since I have done anything with BeamNG, have had a fairly busy personal life however over the last couple of months I have managed to get a bit of work done on my latest project.

Firstly, all the models used have been ported from other games. No modelling has been done on my part and until permission from the original author (who provided the majority of the models used) has been given, this mod will not be released in any form. I understand some of his models have already been used in mods for other games (GTA mostly) however I won't be doing this without his approval.

The mod currently consists of the Sportwagon chassis based on the ETK800, however both sedan and ute versions will follow eventually. Consider this a long term project.

Anyway, currently I have VE SS Sportwagon, HSV Clubsport Tourer and VF SS Sportwagon in game. VE and VF will have differing interiors although VF dash needs a lot more work before i'll be happy with it.

Holy f%#@king elephant balls......seriously? I'm not sure which emotion is stronger, being a fly on an Aussie's keyboard or the
need to make an epic screen of this and the ETK sitting in Utah.

 

@HadACoolName will so love this mod, considering he's an Aussie who loves Holden.

 

The VE models were pulled from a SLRR mod, the VF models I obtained from a GTA website with the author stating that he is fine with any use of his models, he just wants credits given.

It does run, have made a few Jbeam adjustments to fix the track and wheelbase. Have a few different engine configurations sorted too.

Will eventually have police variants.

Is the VF Macgreggor's or Moose's? If so they are pretty decent guys as long as you ask for permission and credit.

Either way looks good and I wish you the best in finishing it.

Author was Jacob, he used models from Forza and another game (can't remember) and pieced it together.

I'll update it when I release the sedan bodystyle, as the Sportwagon wasn't released until 2008

Little progress from this morning, added the SSV wheels and two HSV designs. Jbeam'd to fit properly, need to tweak the 18 inch wheels a bit but i'll do that later.

 

Ah ok well looks like he did a good job.

 

I didn't even think about the release gap, oops
