Hey everyone,

since i have a Passat myself, my dream was always to have one in beamng.
Sadly there are no new passat´s so i decided to make on myself !
All the models were taken from this and this website and adjusted, scaled and retextured (most of the stuff) by me.

latest changelog (14.11.2022)​

Features (old progress):
-Very good 3d model
-A few tuning options ( more is coming)
-Wagon
-Navi Screen (too much zoomed right now)
- < 70% is textured
-its own wheels and engines ( iam mentioning that because the mod is based on the ETK 800 and the parts are not in the actual zip file so yeah )
-edited sound
-even more but iam too lazy too find and write more...

AMAZING, all I can recommend is a V8 swap (and a W12 swap if possible because it's a Volkswagen)

Actually, an audi avant type AWD would be super cool, and make this thing the ultimate sleeper

Since you drive the car in real life, you know exactly how it handles. So hopefully the handling and feel of the car will be realistic.

 

Well, it is looking good. My suggestion is to use the Vivace as the JBEAM base, since it is the closest one to a Passat B8.

I guess the ETK800 is better but i will edit it more anyways so...yea

 

I mean, the ETK 800 share only the body style with the Passat, while the Vivace share everything else. The ETK's suspension, engine placement, and other mechanical bits are totally different, while the Vivace is basically a VW Golf mechanically (the multilink IRS is almost identical to what VW uses). The Vivace wagon, either from WBIMP (the best example) or from the Repo, would be the easiest to work, since you would only need to move some nodes around to fit the shape.
