WIP RG Xtreme remake pack

This pack will remake the original 2016 vehicles (rc pack not included) into better versions.

I know the original vortexx is a bit broken (invisible fenders) and its probably not a good mod out of anything else I posted in my opinion so I remade it and made it a lot better. Hope you will enjoy it when it comes out. The difference is it looks more sleek and smooth, more aerodynamic, and more. It's kinda like a whole new vehicle.

As some of you may know the apex is an arcade handling vehicle, This time it'll have an option to have realistic or arcade handling plus fenders and more sleeker design.

Q:Will this have the original versions?
A: No, just search in the repo. There's no point in having the same versions as 2 separate mods.

Q: Will there be any tow hitch?
A: yes.... why not.


Q: Will there be any powertrain?
A: Oh yes. Definitely

Q: Will the damage and visuals be accurate and realistic?
A: 100% no on both because everyone knows that I'm not the best moddeler ever, and damage system is not my strong suit. Look at my other mods and you will see.

Q: When will this be released?
A: When I'm done and when its fully tested. (probably around April)

Q: Why dont you post often than you do before?
A: I'm a bit lazy nowadays. I'll post an update when I feel like it.

Q: Why is there a Q&A?
A: to keep people from asking the same question every minute.

Q: Why is there more useless questions here?
A: I dont know. LOL

 

Tbh I like bothe the original and the new redesigned one so i'm not sure what to pick.

 

Maybe he can keep both versions in the same pack for the people like you who can't decide?

 

The original is still in the repo here. This mod (or mod pack depending of the poll) is a separate mod and not replacing the original. The newer models is simply an improvement with more features. Real car makers do that too especially with small changes if I remember correctly. That's my 2 cents.

 

Can you redesign the RG logo? I think the big, red obnoxious logo ruins the beautiful design. Or making it like silver or something.

 

The logo is my own design and cannot be changed unless I feel like it.

 

Can I personally change it when it's released?

 

Yes. You can do whatever you want with it as long as its personal.

 

Well it looks like by a giant knockout, The vote says I should remake all of my 2016 models and make it better (rc mod will not be included).
The funny thing is I already started on the sandstorm remake days ago but was focusing on the vortexx X4B the whole time.

Because this is gonna be a pack now, I'll change the title to "2016 Xtreme remake pack" If you guys want you can think of a better name. (thats why the new vortexx has x4b(xtreme 4wd buggy))

You should add more detail to your vehicles

 

I'm not the best at modeling so its impossible to make it as detailed as everything else.

 

damn i love your models, could anything of this be an inspiration maybe? feels like its kinda your style, and would be awesome to see this ingame!

Obviously not.

 

Everybody knows damage system isn't my strong suit, try all my vehicles and you will see why. I'm 100% sure its not gonna be accurate unless I ask for help.

Hey RG, love your mods! They are one of the simplest and best out there, and I have a few questions;
I've looked at the jbeam of the car, and it looks like you solidify a stable jbeam, and fill in with large panels? (I really don't wanna come off as rude btw), but Is that what you do? because if wante make some mods myself, but didn't really want to sit for months on months to make one car, because I have no patience.

Could you make the Logo optional? As in you could go in and select it kinda like the ETK symbols and the Gavril lettering on the tailgate.

How do you make skins? I know you have your Trophy Truck skin template to make skins, but I have no clue how to import them or what.

EDIT: Just remembered you had an R/C Car pack! Will that be remade? (Also i know you're still working on the other cars, but i'd love to see the R/C cars blown up to normal car size! Just an idea if you got nothin else.)
