Re: Semi (need texturing help) New update out. Sorry I don't have picture at the moment Added fuel tanks to the sides of the truck Used some interior parts from the t series ( I'll also add some of my own parts and other cars) Made the grill more box shaped and lowered the slope of the roof
Re: semi (need jbeam help) Making the Jbeam inside blender won't help you learn to jbeam really.. as the jbeam tends to be unorganized and becomes hard to manage fast with this method.
Re: semi (need jbeam help) I don't have to much experience with jbeam, but i recommend setting it up by hand. You just have more of an idea where what is if you do that. It has it's disandvantages, but compared to the advantages, they're nothing. So, basically, do it by hand.
Re: semi (need jbeam help) You know you can take screenshot of your monitor instead of taking a photo with your phone/camera? It would be much better if you want to show your work. If you want to take a screenshot from the viewport: (it will take a screenshot from your current view) Then press F3 and you can save it where you want and upload it here. If you want to save a render, press F12 to render a scene, then when it's done, F3 and the same thing as above to save it and upload. (This one will start a render from the active camera in the scene) - Google if you need to learn more about this, the internet is full of this blender pre-basics.

Re: semi (update) You kinda got the proportions a bit wrong, this is how v type cylinder engine looks, the cylinders are a wider. http://image.fourwheeler.com/f/24943676+w600+cr1/131_0910_02_z+truck_crate_engine_guide+atk.jpg But as far as i know a truck engine looks like this http://news.calcocutaways.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/deluxe-finish-cutaway.jpg The mod looks great by now, you could make them both as selectable engines, and make something like this one too, a race engine http://www.sonnysracingengines.com/images/cms/97c7bed4-7da0-3aef.jpg Hope i helped
