Update: Finally updated the mod to get it in game (Lucaas) Currently working on windows, windshield and interior --- Post updated --- Also please suggest what you think I should fix first! Interior, Jbeam, Textures
Jbeam, I see so many mods that are super spiky but look amazing I'd rather that be your priority for now
Agreed. Why have a gorgeously modelled truck and waste it on a crappy mod? This mod has so much potential. Why waste it?
True, looks like I’ll be doing jbeam tonight --- Post updated --- Any mods out there or admins that can remove the poll from this thread?
I've been on the forums for over two years, and haven't seen this suprisingly... I am looking foward to seeing another semi in Beamng. Keep up the good work!
Update: Working JBeam for doors, rear mirrors and exhaust stacks! I am looking for help on the sleeper cab as it very different from the T-Series Jbeam which I am basing everyone off of
I am totally going to need help with jbeam for the sleeper cab, if anyone can help out please don’t be afraid to DM me
Why you would want to Death Match ??? Dungeon Master ? Um. I'm bit lost here. Anyway, it is not that bad to make structure itself, you just make kind of low poly version of the mesh, then connect all vertices with edges like so: I actually managed somehow to make almost as high poly or even higher jbeam than what my mesh was: Then use https://bitbucket.org/Khalibloo/beamng.drive-blender-addon/downloads/ to make it jbeam file thread for that is here https://www.beamng.com/threads/blender-addon.56981/ It just takes time to make jbeam structure as first version needs usually fixing, many times over, one needs to think that each vertex/node is going to fall down/move unless beams hold it at place. My jbeam is quite horrible actually, skilled one can manage it with lot less beams and maybe with using less nodes etc. Anyway with that it is not so bad as with doing manually using Notepad++ or other ancient method, of course you will need Notepad++ and many changes of values, then comes deform groups and all that, so it is big commitment of time that is needed for that.
Final Progress Update for Today: 90% done texturing headlights, started work on door handle textures and textures for the steps along the side
