I know that it seems late for this, but why not?
So, this is our upcoming follow up generation and I gotta be honest, I seem to start liking it now.

Sure, it's not gonna win me over like other Toyotas, but I seem to be adapting to it.
I hope that it gets an following, as it seems to be intriguing and well, an improvement from the last gen for me.
    (Here's an Avalon coupe interpretation.)

I also feel like that it seems like one of the better looking 2019 Toyotas besides the TRD Trio, the Aygo and Auris fail to look any good than previously.
What do you think about this car?

I bet in 2020 there's going to be a Lexus that looks the exact same.... Mmm I'm experiencing the possibilities for jokes about it.

The grille almost looks like it'll be the new WTF grille for Lexus, although the 2019 UX doesn't seem to look like it'll borrow that grille, and more overall the concept's grille.

Hopefully they make it more versatile. My uncle had the 2016 model up in Michigan but traded it in for a pickup when he couldn't get it out of the parking lot at his work in the winter. And yeah, the grille is another cow catcher grill from Lexus.

Still looks good anyways, until it gets transformed into a monstrosity either by Lexus or some unknown Chinese brand.

The 2016 model seems a bit too boring for my tastes, it doesn't spark out to differ from the 2013 model and looks less interesting than this generation.
I'd also hope they can get an good rating for IIHS just like last generation (specifically the 2016 model), where they nearly hit the nail really well, except for the marginal headlights.

I'd just hope that the ES doesn't need to borrow the Avalon's styling, and takes from the 2018 LS or 2019 UX.

I do agree, it seems to be one of the most unique styling so far from Toyota that legitimately works well. Even with the grille, it still has it's charm.

The grill reminds me of the big 60s cars like the Impala and continental where the front is pretty much 80% grill.

For me, it looks like an more insane '18 Camry ('18 in this case is 2018). Also, for some reason, it reminds me of Lycanroc from Diives, in his latest work. That fascia kind of shares a bit of an eerie factor.

Still rather have a Toyota Crown or a Lexus GS. Nope.

Atleast it's the only Avalon that seems not so boring.
It's not like I am planning to get one, but it peaked my interest.

Weird how you used my render instead, but that's funny, so I give kudos.

Yes, it does not looks boring, but it's styling is ruined because of the grille.

The Toyota Crown Concept on the other hand, looks more purer and more "normal" than the "edgy" Avalon.

That grille ruins the normal for me, it reminds me of the derp generation of the Yaris, except it's being alike to the new Mark V.
Also, I don't see much of the edginess in the Avalon, as in more Camry insanity.

This thread ticks me off, I thought it was a mod at first, and now i'm sitting here upset that I was mistaken.

New Auris looks very similar to 2016 Renault Megane and it's way uglier than previous generation.

The previous gen was standard, the new one looks like an scarred Aygo brother.
