After a few days of work, I’ve finally finished the light textures- I’ll get high resolution pictures of them all tomorrow (when I post this the video may not be HD yet)
It’s final, as this car is barely worth £40k at top trim There’s 12 segments on each sequential light, i think that’s reasonable
Better pictures of the lights were mentioned, so here; All these screenshots are ‘big screenshots’ so you can zoom in on them
First off I love that you are taking the lore and pricing into consideration in the design of the car. That is some next level intentional design. Secondly, those headlights are looking great and the two full shots look amazing. Excellent work Theo. I enjoyed seeing this update while having my coffee this morning.
Do you mind if i use one of the dev pictures as my profile pic? I'm already using it so im wondering if its okay.
Not too much visible progress other than the fact I’ve been unwrapping and texturing stuff over the past 2/3 days. Textured: - ccf_lights - ccf_glass (not dmg yet) WIP: - ccf_main (only the body and 1 more internal part to unwrap and pack) Not able to be done yet: - ccf_mechanical - ccf_interior - and any others The glass and light textures are entirely done, both with extra space for future additions- I don’t have any up to date pictures of these
I've tried my hand at UV wrapping models before and went insane. Props for making it look easy! Honestly when this mod drops it's gonna be Christmas all over again!
ETK Engine bay is too narrow mainly bc of the battery, I had to move its position in the next update for my LT2 mod.
Funnily enough that is not why I custom made mine- I did it because of how different the miata’s stuff is
it is still cool if you wanna make tuning parts (aka taking a red spray can to the model) you can also idk relocate battery to the boot
The texturing goes on and on and on… Body unwrapped and laid out for Substance …and in substance with unedited normal bevels and simple colouring. Tonight I’ll be removing the middle lines off most mirrored and bevelled parts, removing unnecessary bevels and then, once that is done, cracking on with the more detailed stuff Oh also, I got some drawing reference photos that should be usable for months to come. These are mainly for Finn, but if anyone wants to design an aftermarket kit or something, feel free (please use the full images)
