Thank you! Just as idea: When you are adding lower trims, you could consider also adding cheaper headlights. They look basically the same as the normal ones but without the projector.
Considering what a real life Defender goes for (the V8 version of the 110 in the USA starts at $107k), this mod is as close to the real one as I'll ever get but I'm enjoying every minute of it!
I'm just overwhelmed at this point --- Post updated --- This is the fastest developing mod of all time, it's progress in a month is more than the majority in years
Well I guess today is double update day Added LED headlights (Standard on lesser trims, the Premium LED headlights will be standard on the remaining ones) Accurate looks and functionality (including highbeams, lowbeams, signaling, and DRM) Added a paintable underguard Added the No Time To Die config (I suggest using SkipperPlay's Russian Plate mod for the complete look) (thanks to CarTMatt @Discord ) Rims now have a grey Land Rover logo with a rim-colored center cap Fixed some texturing issues I'm trying everything I can to get them fixed...if that eventually happens, I will not believe it!
There's some serious dedication going in to this. Bravo! Jorge, if you're open to / looking for suggestions for improvements, I have a few ideas: - Black & paintable options for the steel wheels - Different alloy wheel options (see below for some of the L663 Defender wheel choices): - LED light bar - Off-road accessory loads for the roof racks (Maxtracks, jerry cans, roof tent etc.) - Rock sliders (sorry to keep asking lol!) - D300 config - Liveries similar to the old Camel Trophy and G4 Challenge Land Rovers
Honestly, I wasn't too surprised that you would be turned down. I still mentioned that avenue just in case you weren't aware, but it looks like you already tried that route beforehand. My apologies for suggesting something redundant. I did mention the other possibility of asking for help somewhere on the forums like the Troubleshooting section as a backup plan, and I noticed that you asked in Mod Support. One of the staff members, thomatoes50, reached out to you not long after; at least fixing the digital gauge issues is heading in the right direction. Hopefully, they will be fully functional as you intended one day. On a little side note, I included a couple more factory colors that have been available on the Defender in certain markets like the United States. Thus, the list should be mostly accurate for the time being until Land Rover introduces new paint options in the future. Feel free to incorporate them in a future update. If I were to give out an award for the most improved mod in a short period of time this year, then the Defender mod would take the cake. A lot of things have changed as I previously stated, and it looks like you'll be maintaining the mod for as long as you can
For those who want to add the colors by themselves before the mod gets officially updated, you can manually add them to the info.json file. Copy everything except the first and last lines of the file, and paste them within the "paints" section, while ensuring that the code structure format is adhered to. If done correctly, then they should show up in-game.
So, i am back with another small improvement. I gave them new Reflector LED Lights, the pattern of LED Reflectors, which look like this: The original creator of the files i used is...of course @PostmortemSlayer. I didnt rename the files because i am not quite sure how you want them named.
Is it me or the foglights are not working. Tried deep cache cleaning but nothing happened. It seems as though the light only shows through reflections of surroundings or the car itself.
Hello, lower-trim configurations does not have front fog lights installed, since this is how it is in real life according to the official Land Rover Defender configurator, where lower trims does not have fog lights installed. Higher trims does have fog lights as default but you can apply front fog lights to lower trims in the parts selector. If otherwise, consider to delete any trace of the 'lrdefender20' folder
Can you just stop? Edit: Sorry for my rudeness but something useful and meaningful that could be fixed is actually the color details of the interiors, I'm currently taking notes from Defender configurators and will be making this mod more realistic
