Hey everyone, I just wanted to show you an engine I 3D printed and painted. As you may notice it is a V8. I used the 3D model of the Moonhawk V8. I had to tweak a few things so it would print easier and look good. I never asked permission because I was just so excited to do this but I hope the modelers are ok with this, if not just let me know. But tell me what you think!

Could you upload the file with the upload a file button on the post?

Well, I had this idea too, but more like printing a car from the game in 1/87 (H0) scale. Is this allowed? Would be a funny easter egg in our model train scenery (@devs)

That's a good idea although I would have to edit the suspension because that's too many little parts for my printer to do and to look good. We will have to see I will try to print a car next. And an engine with a bigger intake.

I don't see an issue with it. You aren't making any money or distributing it. I think it'd fall into fair use.

That is amazing. Seriously, good job on this! I enjoy how realistic it looks.

If you were to print a small crashed Covet, I'll be happy to buy it!

Maybe use the save/load feature to save the beam deformation, go into the file where it's stored, and port it to Blender. It may not be possible, but it's worth a shot.

The damage is stored in a json file not a DAE file.

But anyway the DAE file is one of my specialties I will be able to edit it with relative ease and make a damaged model I'll send some pictures soon.

It is seriously good! I am wondering what kind of 3D printer you used? Again, great work.
