.. it takes all your system's got. Most of the landslide scenes were directly screenrecorded from the live beamng simulation (so without any recording to avoid the jittering / glitching - in super slomo and then sped up). Which also means for each camera angle I had to reset the scene and let the observation deck collapse again. It surely was the most demanding film yet. Also the extensive VFX killed me slowly. BUT, I did it so you can now enjoy it! And I don't think you'll regret: Storyline: "In this heart-pounding disaster action film several people find themselves in the midst of a massive natural disaster that threatens their lives. They are on an observation deck that is in danger of being ripped apart by a landslide that's been triggered by an earthquake. However, the main protagonist has an unexpected ability and has the potential to save everyone, although it will be at great cost. Will he be able to do it?" Please let me know how you like it!
That’s a case for… Pigeon-Man! Great storytelling. And wow, did you do all the movable and destructible stuff with existing props?
Ha, awesome! I always wondered how we could support video creators like you: better tools, more docs, ...?
Thanks a ton! So great to hear you like it. In my opinion, BeamNG already works very well and the graphics update looks stunning! The camera path is not perfect but I find ways around bugs. In general I am quite happy with the world editor. However, there are not enough vanilla props that would allow for more creativity. A good example is that this game now has a chair and a TV, but no table to put the TV on. I don't understand the logic behind that. I know this game is a car simulator, but with a beam structure there are endless possibilities, and I would be extremely motivated by more useful props. More destructible props would be a game changer. Bridges, pillars, big, simple heavy things that you could theoretically stack on top of each other and break. Like steel pillars that bend or walls and floors that are not just made out of loose bricks but have a certain "braking point". So it's not really about complicated props, but rather industrial props that can be used in all sorts of ways with a little bit of creativity. Ah and btw: I applied for your content creator program in August because I wanted to communicate with you more in-depth and directly, but haven't received a response. Maybe there's still a chance?
Dude your movie is amazing, the Pigeon guy save everybody, ecept that worker, but the movie is amazing, that's on of the best movies that you maded.
You have acheived something i could only dream of, with your vfx, storytelling and storyline. Every movie you make instantly brightens up my day, and i never miss out when you upload! Is there any way to apply for this, or come up with plotlines of their own for you to consider? I love beamng, as well as watching movies
You are welcome, I really like your movies, I would like to make my movies with these CGI effects, it would be very useful, keep up the good work with your movies.
