Introducing the 1973 Ibishu Signia/BX, Ibishu's mid 70's sports coupe The Signia kicked off in 1973 with 5 JDM trims under the Signia insignia, and 2 export trims under the BX insignia. The only engines available at this time were the C16 I4 worldwide and the C20 and T20R I6's available in Japan only for the GT trims. Then in 1974 after seeing the initial success, more engines were introduced such as the C24 export I6 and the Y12 Rotary as well as many more trims and upgraded versions of previous trims. Along with this upgrade saw the introduction of fuel injection and a catalytic converter for Ibishu IEFS as well as bigger regulation 5mph bumpers for USDM models. Ibishu produced many more generations of Signia/BX including the 200BX we know and love and the Signia from KLJP. About The Signia started off like most of my projects as just a fun concept that wasn't supposed to go anywhere, I just wanted a quick model to 3D print while I worked on my next mod. At first it looked very different to how it does now, It used to have a lot more 240Z and C110 influence. Spoiler: Initial Design The Signia started becoming more and more fun and that other mod took a back seat. Now I've been working on it actively since July and I wanted to make a thread since I'll be off school soon and will have more time to make it. This will be my first outright paid mod, along with all my future lore full cars, at 6NZD which about 3.5 Euro. Demo will also be available. Gallery Notes and FAQ - This is a paid mod available on Patreon, Gumroad and Ko-Fi - You are allowed to make mods for this, just be sure to not include any unedited content in the mod. It's recommended you use the demo version for making mods. Truly an amazing mod that will most definitely see itself become one of the greats. Can't wait to try this thing out, you have all my support as always
I can't wait to see the rest of the development pipeline! p.s, sorry if this is off topic but i can't seem to figure out the phrasing of " This will be my first outright paid mod, along with all my future lore full cars," are you writing 'This is one of my paid mods' or are you writing sort of 'This paid mod marks where I start making it paid only.' I'm just curious and I don't want to rock anyone's boat.
All my future lore cars will be paid, all my future real cars and parts mods and anything that isn't a lore car will be free. So it's the beginning of my lore friendly cars being paid only
So, if I'm correct from reading the description, does that mean you can use the demo version to make body kits, engine swaps, and then, like, release them for free on the repo? Honestly, I think that's not a bad idea, as long as no one tries to recreate the content in the full, paid version. Or I might just have read the description wrong. But in all seriousness, releasing mods that are compatible for the demo on the repo is actually a pretty cool idea, now that I've thought of it. Just make sure no one tries to recreate the full, paid mod, if you know what I mean. Just a suggestion. (Also, what styling cues are this car based off of I don't know that much about 70s cars fml)
"It's recommended you use the demo version for making mods" does this means addons made by others for this car will be Usable with only the demo version? unfortunately i can't afford to put 4€ everytime I want to drive a new car in this game although I ended up understanding the process and the motives of such a business plan but if we can access free modded stuff on those paid cars (that obviously wont be anywhere near what we can find in the paid mod) it would be a good alternative
Personally I'm not interested in models older than the 90's. But I'm sure it will come with very high quality considering all the author's works. Good luck with the mod.
