It would be good to have a bug reports tab for submitted resources where users of the mod can list any bugs they find, the page should have a format, when adding a bug to that page there should be a series of forms to fill out, for example: Both Resource owner or User can make a bug report. IF SUBMITTED BY A USER THE RESOURCE OWNER CANNOT EDIT THIS INFROMATION. THE BUG SUBMITTED IS HIDDEN UNLESS MADE PUBLIC BY THE RESOURCE OWNER Title: Bug Description: (full description of bug) Severity: 1 - 10 Frequency: often / not often Version number: FOR RESOURCE OWNER ONLY Fix?: ( ) Check for currently working. ( ) Check for planned fix in next update. Comments: (comments from resource owner, for example: "This is not a bug" or "Thankyou I will be looking into this" or "currently fixing" etc. The page is not a discussion page, just bug information with some space for comments by the resource owner. Also the resource owner can choose weather to publish the bug information for all to see, by default only the resource owner can see the users submitted bug information. If possible any update to a submitted bug information will auto notify the submitter of the bug. Also the resource owner can choose to report the submitted bug to a moderator if the bug submitted is inaccurate and should be removed. For example. This car should be blue not red <--- not a bug.
You can simply use the discussion thread for the mod (Each mod has one) to report bugs to the author.
Not really the same thing, but I am getting pretty tired of getting bug reports in the form of reviews. I don't even care how many stars you give me, bug reports go in the thread. Especially annoying when it happens right after a game update (of course the mod is broken now) or when the issue lies with the cache or other mods (i.e. stuff I can't even fix). While having a dedicated "bug report" section for mods might combat this, I do agree that it would be overkill. Still, a notice would be nice. And I'm not sure what to do with reviews that are half review and half bug report, do I still report those?
