    cool
already been suggested and is not going to happen for a long time.
also welcome to the forums, but please don't go around making new threads all willy nilly.
    It's just annoying.
    Thanks!

Hard to do, probably won't happen
There is a mod that adds crashtest dummies
aka gore. That would make the game be an 18+ rating & would turn it into GTA... That's not the way BeamNG devs want their game to go

wats about when you have a damage graph for bone damage that isnt visible on the actual dummy ? that would give it more of an scientific toutch than a gta feel
    just my opinion about that

Beams are bones if you set their parameters so, beams can get broken, all one needs to do is put a proper beam structure to dummy and there is BeamNG.Dismount.

For airbags, you would set enough low beam spring so that beams are flexing quite a bit, setting pressure of the container would then make airbag to fill up, it needs of course jbeamed container inside the steering wheel etc. Also some trigger beam that causes deployment.

While it is quite likely none of that comes from devs, for modders all is possible.

I remember someone made airbags for a mod, I believe it was @BeamCarHomeTrade. About the drivers, there are mods. The broken bones would be pointless as this is a car driving game, not a driver-killing game.

But dummies don't have actual human bones though.

It is something that is kind of evolution of Stair Dismount, which was a ragdoll simulation released on Assembly event at 2002, it was a lot of fun and quite advanced thing back then, but I'm not sure all of you were even in this world back then.

At 2006 there was also Truck Dismount, where you crashed same ragdoll, but this time in a truck instead of stairs.

Turbo Dismount is then first commercial variant of the same theme, but vastly more stuff in it.

If you want realty I suggest finding an agent.

    Sorry, couldn’t resist ;)

Beamng is a vehicle simulator. I can see adding airbags and possibly crash test dummies but adding passengers to the game is just needlessly violent and gory.

I'm fine with having deployable airbags in Beamng, but I really don't see breakable "bones" fit into the vehicle simulation equation. Honestly, I am completely satisfied without the simulation of airbags. ;)
However, having breakable bones and other body parts is just not necessary for a game like this; and I don't see the devs implementing that at all. BUT, I do see them implementing deployable airbags in the foreseeable future.
    • This is a vehicle physics simulator, NOT a human physics simulator.

If the devs want and have the funding i feel like they should make a spinoff to this game where there is gore and breakable bones but then again this isnt flatout, carmegaddeon and turbo dismount.
