A not steering

In controls I have made my controls WASD but when I hold A it doesn't steer. Instead of the A button when I press 1(not numpad) it steers left. And in controls when I try to rebind left steer to 1 it thinks I'm pressing A but A still doesn't work.

 

seems to be that your computer thinks a is 1, my cousin's old laptop did that with the letter p and made it *. try seeing what the number 1 key is
