While I get that it is a hard process to watch all the Automation mods with there now being more mods in the Automation category than in any other one, we have a big problem with the Automation mods as of now: Copyrighted content. Over the last week I saw more and more real cars or cars with real names get uploaded to repository. With BeamNG being quite a small team you guys probably can`t control all the Automation mods but I feel there should at least be some kind of warning message like seen when posting on old threads. Maybe I got something wrong and people are actually able to upload this kind of stuff in the Automation category, but according to the Modding Guidelines people are not allowed to upload any copyrighted content. A few examples just from the first 5 sites: https://www.beamng.com/resources/1966-shelby-gt350.4292/ https://www.beamng.com/resources/ford-escort-zx2.4764/ https://www.beamng.com/resources/pontiac-solstice.4767/ https://www.beamng.com/resources/hellcat.4787/ https://www.beamng.com/resources/mitsubishi-3000gt-vr-4.4800/ https://www.beamng.com/resources/golf-gti-dsg-2016.4758/
The only copyright issue would be the names here. As of now, this is sort of a grey-zone, as we looking into at possible issues with that (means for now there won't be any action. Eventually those will be asked to be renamed or removed later) Thanks for the concern tho.
