A steering idea

I was wondering if it would be possible to implement a custom slider on the dynamic steering so you can choose how long it takes to go from lock to lock. At the moment on some cars it's taking pretty much 3 seconds, which is absolutely huge. That might be okay for driving at 20mph down a street but no good if you're trying to race or get around any kind of chicane. I have tried the direct steering input, but that is too literally direct, and shakes the car out of balance.
