About damn time someone made an electric bare bones vehicle

    I think the Bollinger B1 looks pretty cool. Has a Ford Bronco-esque look to it if you ask me.

    I appreciate cars that are design wise simple, one of my major pet peeves about moderns cars, is that even the most basic one looks busy, and angry.

    any search of common cars from this years will show what I mean

    Looks good, my only problem with it is the lack of aerodynamics but I guess you don't need that if you're offroading.

    No way it can pass a crash test though.

    The problem with this is that it isn't practical for actual offroading. It has impressive stats, but pure electric power alone is useless for actual offroading. The batteries are heavy, which immediately handicaps the performance capabilities, and they won't last very long under heavy use, which could mean getting stuck in the middle of nowhere.

    Using electric motors is useful, but they really need a conventional engine to back up the electric power, otherwise this is just a fancy mallcrawler that costs way too much money. $60,000 is ridiculous to spend on something like this.
