ABS flash by just lightly pressing brakes

I've seen other users mention it on the forums, and I'd like to know if anybody else is having this issue.

In cars like the Pessima, the ABS lights flash up by just pressing the brake pedal, like less than 5-10% on the UI App. And I think that has an impact on low-speed braking, as the anti-lock system activating at less than 40 km/h just makes the stop distance longer.

    I'm using a G27. Anybody can help?

Are you placing little to no pressure and it's slamming on the brakes in-game?

The ui app shows it's pressed 5-10 % down, as op said.
Haven't tried reproducing it yet myself but I think it's caused by limitations in beamng's ABS simulation.

I've noticed it too, but I haven't found it to be a big deal. In real life the ABS wouldn't kick in until much later.

@bEEpNOX14 No no, the brakes behave normally with analog pressure as @mtslittow said, it's just that the anti-lock system (in cars that have ABS, that is) fires up much early than it should (in real life I've only triggered it once or twice in my life, and that was slamming the brakes to avoid running over someone or something).

It wouldn't be much of a deal if it weren't that it actually hampers a little the effectivenes of the brakes in light-braking situations. Because that system is meant to avoid locking the wheels in situations that would make them slide and thus lose control of the car, but activating it when you brake lightly just makes the car brake less and get a longer stopping distance.

I agree with Jorlman, i was messing around with Jbeam to make an F1 engine imititation with the SBR4 and after that i was inclined to making the car even faster by changing wieghts of body parts and grip of tyres, but i gave up becuase the braking performance was terrible and the abs kicked in super early from just a light tap pf the brakes making the braking distance atleast or close to 2 times aslong and worse than a stock car that has average brakes. I am by no means saying that the braking of the SBR4 is supercar like, but they should have better performance than they do without the ABS kicking in.

I have noticed this too, would be nice to see a comment from the devs regarding if this is just something visual or if this does actually have any impact on braking distance.
